How long does it take repair my auto glass?
A typical auto glass repair takes about one hour for most vehicles and parts. How ever there are instances when the job may take longer, depending on the vehicle and the part that is being installed. Your auto glass provider can give you a better idea based on the work you are having done.
Are quoted prices final?
The quoted prices are guidelines and are subject to price and availability. The selected shop will verify your pricing prior to scheduling.
Why may prices be different?
Availability and net priced items may affect pricing. Other factors such as glass color, rain sensor, light sensor, heated glass & moldings ect. Will affect the pricing. Your selected auto glass provider will confirm this prior to scheduling.
What should I expect when scheduling a job?
1) The auto glass provider you have selected will call you to schedule and confirm pricing, they will ask you if your vehicle has any additional options that my affect pricing.. 2) The auto glass provider will take your name, address and telephone number of your home or work place. Please have any building or apartment numbers ready or specific work place details such as company name and contact information. 3) Pick a time frame many auto glass service providers will schedule your job in a time frame, for example they will arrive between the hours of 8:00am-1:00pm, 9:00am-2:00pm, 10:00am-3:00pm, 11:00am-4:00pm, 12:00pm-5:00pm. Each auto glass service provider will have their own time frames and will discuss them with you when scheduling.
How long does it take to get my specific piece of auto glass?
Depending on the service option you choose and the specific part you need most auto glass can either be installed same day or next day. Standard replacement usually installs with in one business day. Premium replacement with in 2-3 business days. Dealer grade allow 5-7 business days. Used glass allow 5-7 business days.
What types of glass are there and what option is best for me?
Standard replacement : This is a good economic choice when available, Standard replacement glass is available for over 80% vehicles. Standard replacement glass is high quality aftermarket glass that is DOT certified and meets all manufacturers specifications.

Premium glass replacement : This is a high end replacement option, which is available for most vehicles. The glass is of the highest quality and is considered OEM for most vehicles. Your auto glass provider will call with in 1-2 business days to discuss pricing and availability. When choosing this option it includes new factory molding where applicable, and new windshield wiper blades. This a complete premium service option.

Dealer grade : This is an option that provides the same auto glass the manufacturer originally installed in the vehicle or is currently using now. This provides a dealer grade glass, without the hassles of going to the dealer, usually for about the same price or even less in some cases.. This option includes new factory molding where applicable and new windshield wiper blades. Please allow 5-7 working days for scheduling. Most auto glass service providers will require a deposit, as most of these items are special order and have a restocking fee that applies.

Used glass : This option is not recommended for most vehicles, only consider this option when the new glass is exceptionally expensive. Allow 5-7 to business days to complete install. Most auto glass service providers will require a non refundable deposit because used glass is not refundable.

Will my inspection be put back on?
In most states the inspection stickers are able to be put back on the new windshield.
What about my E-Z pass?
As long as the sticky Velcro is able to be used again the technician will put your E-Z pass back on. If not contact E-Z pass for new Velcro strips.
What about my rear view mirror?
Your rear view mirror will be put back on the new windshield.
